This exqusite book belongs in the collection of anyone who loves fashion and fashion photography. Before he opened Le Chaufourg-en-Perigord, one of the most charming and perfectly-run inns I know (I've visited five times) Georges Dambier photographed the great fashion models of the 1950s. Bettina, Dorian Leigh and Suzy Parker are just a few of the beauties captured here in the prime of their careers -- captured in photographs that are as vibrant and modern-looking today as they were half a century ago.
